We have a clinical focus on language and literacy difficulties associated with a variety of different diagnoses. Our approach is informed by regular professional development that blends clinical research with neurodivergent voices.

  We prioritise flexibility in our service delivery to suit your needs.  We will work with you to determine the most appropriate session frequency, and work with the different people around you to support positive outcomes. 


About us

Harrison Chen - speech pathologist

Harrison completed his Bachelors of  Applied Science (Speech Pathology) in 2018. Since then, he has worked with children and young people with a range of abilities to achieve their communication goals. Harrison's previous roles have included working with autism, low hearing / vision, and physical disabilities. He currently divides his time between private practice and working in an adolescent mental health team. 

 

His areas of interest as a speech pathologist include:

  • Language delays and disorders;
  • Literacy; 
  • Developmental disabilities; and
  • Augmentative / alternative communication (i.e., using signs, pictures, and / or communication devices)


Harrison believes in celebrating each person's unique strengths and interests. He is also a big believer in empowering the client and their support network, so that they can be active participants in the decision-making process. Harrison is committed to providing evidence-based and effective therapy, and regularly undertakes ongoing professional learning in the areas of parent-coaching, language, and literacy.
